Interim Place's 2nd Annual Purple Tie Luncheon
On Sunday, June 3rd, Interim Place launched the In Her Name Fund at the 2nd Annual Purple Tie Luncheon and together we raised $25,000!
Thank you to all of those who attended Interim Place's 2nd Annual Purple Tie Luncheon! A special thank you to our male allies who continue to support the important work that we do at Interim Place! With your support we were able to launch the In Her Name Fund, which is designed to breakdown barriers that women who are experiencing violence face. With the launch of the In Her Name fund, we will be able to increase the amount of support we can provide to meet women’s needs.
Thank you once again to everyone who attended the Purple Tie Luncheon! Your feedback is important to us. We especially want to hear how we can help you to continue to make a positive impact in the lives of women who experience violence in our community! Please fill out the survey here.
If you were unable to attend the Luncheon, and would like to make a donation to the In Her Name Fund, you can do so here.

Her Life Her Canvas- Expressive Art Healing Program
Thank you to all of the Peer Facilitators and Participants who took part in this 3 year program!
“Her Life, Her Canvas: Survivors supporting Survivors” was an art-based peer to peer support group for women and youth survivors of violence coordinated and delivered by Interim Place. The group provided women and youth with a safe space where they could meet and provide mutual support to one another in a place which promotes respect, trust and warmth and empowers these individuals to make changes and decisions to enhance their lives through the use of arts-based therapy methods i.e. poetry, crafting, painting, photography and drumming.
