Our Mission at Work
Interim Place works towards the elimination of all forms of violence against women and their communities. We
believe that it is the social, economic and political inequity
which creates violence in the lives of all women and children.
We know that racism, sexism, classism, ageism, heterosexism and
other systems of violence and oppression must be eradicated if
we are to eliminate violence against women.
We know that as communities of caring and committed socially conscious citizens, we can come together, contribute and work together to change our world and address the root causes of violence. At Interim Place, we work to end poverty, violence, homelessness and oppression in our world for all our grandmothers, mothers, aunties, sisters, daughters, sons, children, friends, partners, co-workers and neighbors.
