To empower women and their children to live free from violence in their personal relationships by providing support, advocacy, emergency shelter, counselling and public education

Interim Place provides 24-hour emergency shelter to abused women and their children in Peel Region. There are two shelters operating in Peel Region, one in the North and one in the South.The shelters serve women and children who are being abused and need a safe supportive place to stay and plan their future.

Helping abused women and their children for more than 24 years. Interim Place, a shelter for abused women and their children, has helped rebuild 10,000 lives in Peel Region since 1981. We are the only woman-centred organization in Peel Region focused solely on providing shelter, interim support and counselling for abused women and their children. During the past 24 years Interim Place has provided effective services that have helped women and their children live their lives free from physical, emotional, sexual and economic abuse.
